Dawn started with offering triathlon training in a supportive environment. It evolved into multiple teams. It then added a philanthropy component.
The desire to create a community facilitated the need for a membership website. With that came many administrative tasks that were eased by the back-end interface for coaches.

This php database generated site offers many opportunities for members to interact and connect while making the administrators happy by giving them the tools they need to run the workouts in smooth manner and interface to disseminate information to a large group of people.
Membership sign-up: Members can sign up for any of the active teams. If they are returning members, they get discounts. After they pay through the paypal interface, they get automatic access to the membership area of the website.
Members Only: In the membership area, members can update their account, log their exercise, post on a message board, look up other members, shop for team gear, read expert advice, and read the training notes for the week.
Administration: A server-based emailer and browser
interface uses the databse of members for easy communication. Specific teams
can be targeted and attachments can be added to any email. Check-in lists,
tshirt lists, medical check sheet and address lists are generated for any
of the teams with the data-driven interface.
